Chinese 18th/19th century blue and white porcelain shallow dish, underglaze painted overall with sprays of chrysanthemum, magnolia, prunus, camelia, orchid, peony and lotus sprays. The reverse border decorated with four branches in thin liner white on a powder blue ground, including peony, camelia and flowering peach. Chenghua six character mark to the base within double concentric circle. Kangxi period. 40cm diameter approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT)
Minor chips noted to foot rim. Under UV light, large area of restoration and vertical hair-crack in side of dish.
